Broken Nose Surgery

This young woman had a significant nasal fracture and subsequent difficulty breathing through her nose. She was also unhappy with the appearance of her nose and wanted to get her nasal bump reduced. We first did a closed reduction of her nasal fracture to get things better aligned. A few months later, she had an open approach rhinoplasty with hump reduction, septoplasty, spreader grafts, bilateral lateral crural struts, batten grafts using a donor rib graft.

She is happy with her cosmetic and breathing result and is 6 months postop in these photos.
