What’s the First Step?
You’ll first need to consult with Dr. Compton at his office in Troy, MI, to undergo this procedure. In this appointment, he will sit down with you to understand your concerns and changes you’d like to see, as well as review your medical history to ensure there are no underlying conditions that could potentially affect the outcome of the procedure. Dr Compton can reduce your earlobes in multiple ways, so he will look at the anatomy of your ears and earlobes to determine the best surgical technique to create a look that best complements your other facial features.
You can ask any questions you may have during this appointment, and Dr. Compton will explain the procedure in as much detail as you want. This surgery can be performed as a standalone procedure, but is commonly done in combination with otoplasty, facelift, or neck lift. Once you both agree on your treatment plan, the surgery can be scheduled.
