Earring Tear Through/Gauge Repair
If you have one or both lobes with a long, stretched out piercing hole or previously had gauged ears, you can have them repaired in a simple procedure in the office. Dr. Compton performs this procedure after injecting the ear lobe/s with local anesthetic. A small area around the torn skin is cut away then sutured together which will heal into an almost imperceptible scar. Re-piercing can be done in the office 6-8 weeks after repair.
Your Earring Tear Through/Gauge Repair will be performed by Dr. Andrew Compton at Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital, West Bloomfield surgery center or in his office in Troy.
