The procedure also tightens sagging skin to improve skin laxity.

With years of practice in the field, Dr. Compton is an ideal choice for your BodyTite Abdomen treatment. Dr. Compton will use his skill and experience to help you achieve your preferred aesthetic results.

What Is BodyTite Abdomen?

BodyTite is a minimally invasive device that contours the body in almost any area and reduces fat. It uses RFAL, or radiofrequency-assisted liposuction, to remove excess fat in areas like the abdomen, upper arms, lower back/love handles, upper back/bra line, hips, thighs, above the knees, and chest area.

A BodyTite Abdomen treatment will specifically focus on abdominal fat and the love handles. As RFAL breaks down and removes unwanted fat cells in the abdomen while starting a process that will contract underlying skin, the abs and obliques become more enhanced and contoured.

How Does BodyTite Abdomen Work?

A BodyTite Abdomen treatment works by transmitting radiofrequency inside and outside of your tissues. The device has two probes and a handpiece. One probe will be inserted into the skin through a small incision, and the other probe is positioned on the external surface of the skin.

The radiofrequency energy will be controlled by the handpiece of the BodyTite device. The RF energy will break down stored fat into free fatty acids and glycerol. Free fatty acids and glycerol are forms of fat that can be used as energy by your body.

The heat from the RF treatment will also trigger the skin to contract and tighten by encouraging collagen production. As new collagen is created, excess sagging skin disappears.

Am I a Good Candidate for BodyTite Abdomen?

The best candidates for BodyTite Abdomen are people who want to get rid of excess abdominal fat and sagging skin while avoiding surgical procedures that necessitate a long recovery period. A BodyTite Abdomen treatment will only require five to ten days of rest at home after the procedure.

BodyTite Abdomen patients must also have a body mass index of 30. The treatment may not be safe for people with a BMI above 30. It is recommended for people who have a healthy exercise regimen and a nutritious diet.

Your BodyTite Abdomen Session

Before the treatment, you will be given oral medication to make you relaxed and sleepy during the procedure. You then can use Pronox (a nitrogen/oxygen mixture similar to laughing gas) while a small amount of numbing medication is injected to areas where small incisions will be made to pass the device.

Once the skin is numb, the BodyTite device will be used to begin your treatment. The probes will be positioned inside and outside of the abdominal skin. The RF handpiece will then emit RF energy to burn body fat and tighten skin. Very rarely, the RF pulses may cause a warming sensation that you can still feel, though most of the time you will have no pain.

The session will last for 45 to 60 minutes. Depending on your appearance goals, a BodyTite Abdomen treatment may be combined with more or less liposuction, depending on the amount of fat to be removed. You will not need repeated treatments of BodyTite.

BodyTite Abdomen Aftercare

After a BodyTite Abdomen treatment, it is advised to avoid heavy exercise for at least two weeks. Patients will also be required to wear a compression garment for best results, 24/7 for the first week, then at nighttime or as much as possible for a month afterward.

Make sure to rest properly for five to ten days after the treatment, meaning you can walk around and do light activity, but no heavy lifting, straining, or cardio.

How Much Does BodyTite Abdomen Cost?

The total cost of a BodyTite Abdomen treatment is dependent on area. Upper and lower abdominal treatments are $2,999 each, or $4,999 for both performed at the same time. Since the treatment is for purely aesthetic purposes, medical insurance will not cover the expenses. There is a $100 consultation fee that can be used toward the price of a treatment if you decide to move forward.
